On June 23, 2025, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary celebrates 86 years of continuous service to the U.S. Coast Guard. As a force multiplier, the Auxiliary works alongside active-duty and reserve personnel, performing similar tasks and maintaining units throughout the nation. Nearly 30,000 uniformed civilian volunteers generously contribute their time, talents, and efforts in support of the Coast Guard’s mission.
