August 3 - Coast Guard Birthday

The Coast Guard is celebrating its birthday this coming Friday, August 3, with a picnic at Gab Gab Beach on Naval Station, and all auxiliarists and our families are invited. The grilling will begin at 1030 with food ready to be consumed about 1200 noon-ish. Bring a local dish to share if you wish, but it’s not necessary. Swimming is encouraged so bring a bathing suit, snorkel, fins, floats, and towels to dry off. Gab-Gab has a place to change into dry clothes so no need to worry about getting car seats wet. If you can make it, please come and enjoy the celebration.
