We commemorate a variety of cultural and historical events in September's diversity & inclusion news. Hispanic Heritage Month is observed to recognize the significant contributions of Hispanic and Latinx individuals to our society. In addition, we observe International Day of Sign Languages, which promotes deaf community awareness and inclusion. September also represents the start of Native American Heritage Month, a celebration of the traditions, languages, and accomplishments of Native American peoples. It is a time to appreciate and learn from the various cultures that contribute to the beauty and vibrancy of our world.
FC Vasquez emphasized the importance of diversity and inclusion. "Diversity and Inclusion involve recognizing variations and adjusting approaches to foster an inclusive atmosphere where diverse talents, viewpoints, and origins are appreciated. It encompasses comprehending the distinct individualities within our community, stemming from various backgrounds and ways of life. This entails valuing the utility of these diverse viewpoints and concepts to elevate the excellence and achievements of our purpose," Vasquez said.
